Building in public is uncomfortable at first. You’re sharing half-finished ideas, uncertain decisions, and occasional failures with anyone who cares to look.
But that discomfort is the point.
The accountability loop
When I write about what I’m working on, I have to actually understand it well enough to explain it. That forces clarity I wouldn’t get otherwise.
What “building in public” means for me
It doesn’t mean sharing everything. It means sharing the parts that might be useful to someone else going through the same thing a year from now.
